Princess Gardens
located at 89th & Wornall probably has the best Cantonese, Szechuan, Hunan and Mandarin Chinese food in town. It is family run and has been in KC for over 30 years. I like to order what I want. If you are familiar with the basic styles of food they will make just about anything you desire. Special orders are standard here. Peking duck is to die for. The decor is classic Chinese upscale but unfortunately a little dated. It is easy to forgive considering the prices are low. KOSHER is served every third (?) Sunday. Get reservations as it is full on those days. If
PF Changs
Great Plaza location and atmosphere. Food here again is prepared on demand as you see fit. The Wok line, Cook line or what ever you want to call it is impressive. Bar is huge. Plush seating and perfect Plaza location (which means parking sucks.)
Bo Lings
has nice Chinese Food and a few locations.
Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill
is great Westport area funky artsy spicy cool Chinese food. No upscale but Cool Scale........(There is/are other location(s) )
In Liberty
try Hunan Garden. I have heard it was nice although I haven’t been there yet.
