Ciao Bella
It%26#039;s a fabulous Italian restaurant tucked behind the backstreets of Bloomsbury. http://www.ciaobellarestaurant.co.uk/rev...
It is very reasonably priced.
Another gem is %26#039;Little Bay%26#039;. A small chain of restaurants across London. The menu is slightly limited but there are an array of fabulous dishes to try out. It is very reasonably priced aswell.

I%26#039;m not sure there is a definite answer to your question. It will depend on your personal preference, budget, location, etc. There are also a lot of restaurants that are very popular, but not necessarily the best food-wise.
Here are some of the most highly regarded venues:
Petrus: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/35.htm
Quo Vadis: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/34402.htm
Mango Tree: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/1895.htm
Clos Maggiore: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/3226.htm
Maze (and maze Grill): http://www.london-eating.co.uk/4439.htm
Galvin at Windows: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/7211.htm
Awana: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/6575.htm
Le Gavroche: http://www.london-eating.co.uk/22.htm
There are so many, just do a search in your preferred area or by cuisine and see what takes your fancy!
