What is your opinion of tip jars at fast-food restaurants and other places where service is minimal?
Answer:
Fast food places like Dunkin Donuts if I am not eating there I won't tip. The only service they are giving you is handing you the donuts that you paid for. I feel the same with Subway. Even though they are making your food for you, you are standing right there and pay for your food at the register and they you take your own tray to the table and sit down and you get your own drink. And then you even bus your own table when you are finished. They are not doing anything "above and beyond". Where do you draw the line? In a dept store would they have a tip bottle for just ringing up your items for you?
