    Why are there so few flies in Bangkok?

Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

Question:
Bangkok is hot, tropical, crowded 鈥?and full of roadside food stalls. Fried foods, fresh meats, fresh cut fruits, sweets, coconuts, fish. These are some of the stalls. People are eating in public all the time. In India, just a few stalls are enough to attract a swarm of flies. Yet in Bangkok, you will hardly ever see flies. At most one or two strays. No one has been to explain why to me.

Answer:
I think the air quality acts as fly-spray. I have not had too much of a fly problem in other parts of SE Asia - Malaysia and Thailand. I wonder why, too?
