and you don't put it on your sushi, you make a dipping sauce of it mixed with soy sauce, and the ginger clears your pallet and counteracts the kick from the wasabi...just like taking tequila shots with salt and lime
i'm amazed when you say no one you know uses them...no one i know here in Los Angeles doesn't...where are you (city/state/country)?
