I have heard the ads for the bagel sandwich made by Einstein Brothers. The name "ELMO" reminds me of the furry Sesame Street character. Does the name mean anything? Is the name a marketing gimmick?

Ok so I actually was wondering this question also and wrote to the company and asked and this is what they responded with:
We actually had a "name the sandwich" contest in a few of our test markets before we rolled this sandwich out nationally. Many, many guests entered in their suggestion for what to name the "nameless" egg sandwich. Spicy Elmo was the winner!
Elmo just fits with the Einstein's theme since Melvin and Elmo are our two mascots. Thanks again and let me know if you have any other questions. Have a mind bageling day!
