i go to different places to eat, where they have the bar in the middle of the resturant, or they allow kids in a bar, until later in the evening. do you think chirldren or young people should see these people drinking and then their parents drinking and then driving home?
Answer:
In the US, drinking isn't acceptable if you are under 21. In places like Sweden, drinking is socially acceptable at the young age of 14!
Depending on the parenting style these couples have, bringing children into a bar and drinking is up to them!
This is a social and cultural issue.
I do believe that parents should tell their children that if they do go out and drink to call them for a ride home and to NOT drive themselves. Children are going to drink if they want to. Leave the door open to them...
