i'm applying for a pizza restaurant. i have no skill in cooking at all. i usually buy microwave foods. i need cash though.
how easy is it to cook pizza? will someone help you if you are too busy? do you have to memorize all ingredients? will i get fired if i am too slow? does it get real hot in the kitchen? any advice for a non-cook? are you satisfied as a cook or do you wish you were working another line?
Answer:
I worked and managed a Pizza Hut for years, and I think cook is the best position. You will be trained, and there are usually charts to follow. Don't worry- you will be fine. And it is relatively fun. It can get hot sometimes, but not bad. There are recipes posted for every step-from dough, sauce, etc. to topping the pizzas. Most pizza rest. now have auto. ovens. Good luck!!
