Daughter had it in a Louisiana restaurant.

Answer:
Scallops Pasta Acadian

Vegetable Culinary Base
10 Large Sea Scallops -- rinsed and drained
1 Stick Butter -- unsalted
1/2 Package Bear Creek Cajun Dip & Dressing Mix
5 Large Mushroom -- chopped medium
1 Tablespoon Bacon Pieces, Reduced Fat
1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
1/4 Cup Sour Cream
2 Tablespoons Chef Paul\\\'s Blackened Redfish Seasoning
2 Servings Spaghetti - Thin -- cooked
2 Tablespoons Gorgonzola Cheese Crumbles -- finely crumbled

Check Amounts of Cream and Sour Cream...

1. Have cooked pasta resting in warm water ready to drain.

2. Divide butter, melt half in container large enough to hold scallops, keep warm.

3. Melt other half in small 8\\\" saute pan over medium heat.

4. Stir in Bear Creek Cajun Dip. (For a truly spicy sauce, use entire package)

5. Saute about 5 minutes or until dried onion is soft.

6. Add mushrooms, bacon and reduce heat to medium low for 10 minutes

7. Heat blackening skillet or flat grill to extra high (600+) (Do Not Try in kitchen)

8. Add cream and sour cream to saute pan, stir well and keep on low to warm. (Do not let boil)

9. Dip scallops in butter, coat one side with blackening season, place in skillet or flat grill for no more than 2 minutes.

10. Sprinkle to coat other side, turn and finish, about a minute or two. DO NOT OVER COOK

11. To plate; place a serving of pasta in center of plate, laddle 1/4 cup of sauce in center, arrange scallops around edge of sauce.

12. Top with Gorgonzola.
I could not find anything, cause I don't know if is from the Bear Creek restaurant, http://www.bearcreekgrill.com/menu-2.htm... or if this is what is called.
Go to Bear Creek.com, they have several recipes there....
I don't know if you are talking about pasta from a restaurant with Bear Creek in the name or not - there are several, but none with menus online that I can find.

However, Bear Creek is the name of a company that makes some really good soups and soup mixes, among other things. You can almost always find the soup mixes at Sam's Club stores. I am wondering if it was a pasta made with a Bear Creek soup mix maybe?
