Some use lemon, some use lime. Someone like you is using both. Who cares, it′s what you like. Lime officially is the best

My person preference is 2 limes, but I have had it with lemon (when the bar has been out of lime). I enjoy the flavour of lime more so that is why I chose it. But have it however you like it!! I'll give it a try next Corona...both!!

Lime. Corona is a Mexican beer and lemons do not grow in Mexico and, most likely, no one has ever seen one. Remain authentic - it's the best way to go.
lime is the one the manufactures have publicized although use what u like. the tradition started in Mexico when they would recycle bottles but it was to costly to wash them, so you would wipe a lime around the rim to kill all the germs of the person drinking off the bottle before you. kinda gross tradition

How about an upsidedown Corona marguerita?..Mix up lime marguerita mix according to pkg directions...blend with ice...Fill a big mug 1/3 full of lime marguerita slush..then tip your bottle carefully upside down into the slush slowly lift the bottle to let some of the beer mix with the slush..drink with a straw...and as you drink the beer will drain into the slush...Sooooo yummy!./...And looks very impressive!

i like both... i prefer lime and limes are the norm as far as mexicans and their beer.

ultimately, the choice is yours. after all, you are the one drinking it.

Limes are traditional, but we are talking about beer, here... relax, and do what you like. In fact, I have been informed more than once, by people who should know, that the only purpose of the lime wedge, originally, was to plug the top of the bottle and keep flies out. If I saw a women putting lemon and lime together, it would tell me she has thought about it, and knows what she likes, which is a very attractive quality.
try them both and apart which one do you like most then use it it doesn't hurt to try new things only if it's broccoli!YUK!!!!
