Did you drink when you were underage? If so what do you think about it now? What age do you believe should be the legal drinking age?
Answers:
Yes, but I was 17 and the drinking age was still 18. Didn't think it was a big deal, still don't.
And I've seen 15 and 16 year olds in the states totally wasted and don't condone that at all. I prefer the attitude over here in the UK & europe. They believe a moderate attitude of acceptance is better than the US attitude of pushing the underage drinking taboo to the point of it becoming the "holy grail" of mis-behavour and a must-have at all costs.
Since the States can't do anything without making a law about it, I would say the legal age should be returned to 18. It's redicioulous to be 21.
Cheers
Other Answers:
i think 21 is a good drinking age, i had a little wine, tried a sip of my dad's beer once, but nothing major.
YES, i drank when i was younger, personally i feel it was a good thing, because i didnt go over board when i turned 21..
I think 18 should be the legal age, because if you're old enough to fight in a war, you should be old enough to drink..
However i can see why the age is 21, because an 18 year old can be a little wild and at 21 some people do seem to be more of an adult.. then they were at 18
Hell ya. Every chance I got. I think I got drunk more under age then I do now. But it takes the thrill of drinking away when you become legal. I also slept with a lot of ugly woman during that time, I can't figure out why! HMMMM...

no i did not and still dont.21 is good drinking age
Yep, and sorry I did. Should have been studing.
YES and it is so much fun but don't go overboard. i have a few friends that do and it is no fun babysitting for them when they are trashed but if you are mature enough to not get too crazy then yes. i think the drinking age should be 18 cause if you are old enough to get a job, go to war or drive then you should be old enough to drink. or maybe they should change all ages for everything to 21. drinking needs to be in a controlled environment also cause if you are not safe somewhere or if it requires driving then drinking is dangerous. but get a few of your girl friends together and kick back with a goblet of wine and watch sappy girl movies or sex and the city and have a fun evening.
there are some restaurants that will let parents order their kids drinks, I first got buzzed when my mom shared a long island with me when I was 15 or 16, and then when we'd go back usually I'd get a grasshopper. Now, I hardly drink, I think parents who try to keep their kids from EVERYTHING are more likely to lose control of them, stay invovled but let kids experience some things with supervision.
Nothing big just wine and wine coolers and that was with my family so yea idk
YES!
Yup! and I still do! I'm married to someone who is 21, so I can drink all I want now... Funny... I'm old enough to fight and die in a war, make a life long commitment, have my own family, and carry credit cards in my name... But I couldn't go into a restraunt and order a drink without my husband. Makes ya think about some of the crazy laws we still have... or maybe its the crazy laws we don't have..
Yes, I did plenty of times. I am actually from Mexico City, where the drinking age is 18, and even like that, a couple of years before that I was already making fake ids with my friends.
