Bartles & James is still out there.
yeah bartyles and james does No, they don't. Most of the wine cooler companies went out of business by the late 80s as tastes changed. Of the few companies that survived (Seagram's, Bartles & Jaymes), they all changed the alcohol content from wine to 'malt beverage,' aka beer that has had the flavor removed. So even when you buy a 'cooler' today, it has no wine in it.
Which is too bad, because some of the wine coolers were awesome.
As other answerers have pointed out the Wine Cooler brand, Bartle and Jaymes is still around, although now they focus more on Cooler "Cocktails" (strawberry daquari cooler, etc.) than wine. You do not say where you are, and the brand is not carried by all stores, so.... Bartle and Jaymes is a brand of Gallo Wineries (the largest in the world,) here is the URL for their contact page:

Just type in your info and ask for the retailer near you.
Having said all of that, you do realize that you can make wine coolers yourself, very inexpensively.
1) pick out an inexpensive wine whose basic taste you like, either white or red is fine.
2) in a bowl mix the wine with a 100% fruit juice of your choice or cut up fresh fruit (if you use fresh fruit you may have to strain your drink before serving) the proportions are 2 of wine to one of juice or fruit. (some people like to add sugar or sweetner to taste.) chill the mixture.
3) place the fruit/wine mixture in a tall glass and add plain soda like a club soda (do not use tonic water, but some people like to use ginger ale or 7-up or another "clear" soda brand.) You can mix to taste, but the standard blend is 1 measure of fruit/wine to 2 of soda.
4) Add ice cubes, garnish with fresh fruit and serve.
