Answers:
Gluten Free beers are rare, and still misunderstood. Some commercial examples are Rampo Valley Brewery's (Suffern, NY) "Mirage Honey Lager," and Lakefront (Milwaukee, WI) "New Grist."

A more widely distributed version is "Dragon's Gold" from Bards Tale Brewing. Available from Iowa through the Northeast and down to S. Carolina, it is a Sorghum based beer from the only (to my knowlege) brewing company dedicated to making all gluten free beers. Earlier in 2006, they began production at a new plant in California, but ironically do not distribute there, according to their website.

The most widely available gluten free, brewed beverage is Sake. Getting a fine Junmai-Shu type means it is typically all brewed (like a beer) and has no distilled alcohol fortification. These are also made from high quality 'polished' rice and have a smoother flavor than the types served hot. The best Sake's are typically served cold and are as good as fine wines.

Ginjo and Dai-Ginjo Sake can be fortified with distillate, but it is all rice distillate. Care should be taken, though since there can be some distilled corn or barley product, too.

Sake's make a very good mixer as martini's, wine coolers and daquoris.

Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin has a beer called New Grist Beer. It contains no malted barley or gluten containing products. I've had it and it's pretty good. Probably hard to find unless you live in Wisconsin, but if you contact the brewery they'll let you know where you can find it. Check out the site.
