Easy drink to make you might like it...
Gimlet
2 oz Gin
1/2 to 3/4 oz Roses Lime Juice...
Shake with ice serve in martini glass... shake it for a good 30 seconds to a minute if you don't like it as strong... the ice will melt a bit more and smooth it out...
for a slightly different taste add 1/2 oz of dry Vermouth (white)
Another Idea is a cosmopolitan... which is kind of popular lately
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
3/4 oz cranberry (get the real stuff not the cocktail)
a splash of roses... (just a bit) or... I like to just take a lime and cut it into about 8 peices... then squeeze one peices juice in the drink instead of the roses...
Shake over ice and serve in a martini glass...
I forgot my wifes favorite drink... Gin and tonic with lime...
super duper super simple...
a shot glass of Gin (1.5 - 2 oz)... pour over ice in a rock glass... take a lime wedge... squeze over ice... drop in glass or put on edge.. (my wife likes it in the drink)... then fill the rest of the glass with tonic... give it a quick once around with a spoon (I usually skip that part)... and boom... my wifes favorite mixed drink
It's not a big deal. Take a long glass. Put one measure of vodka, top it up with some apple juice, peach nectar, a few drops of pomegranate syrup (for color). Add 1-2 ice cubes, stir well.
