Kitty said: Yes.Equivalence of alcohol?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Equivalence of alcohol?),it will help you,my kids.
How many beers does 1 shot of regular vodka equal? Also if someone has a link to a site that shows conversions, that'd be helpful. 10 points for best answer
Answer:
I presume your referring to the equivalency in regards to drinking and driving or alcohol consumption. When I was a student, it was generally taught to us that all drinks are equal due to the difference in alcohol content per volume. Although beer is only 5% alcohol per volume, you consume a lot more ie 12oz in a standard beer. Whereas while vodka is about 40% you only drink one shot. Thus each drink is pretty much standard...
12oz per 5%Alc. by vol 12oz can. So a normal can of beer. Can't help you out with the other part sorry.
1 12 oz beer = 1 drink
1 4 oz glass of wine = 1 drink
1/2 oz 80 proof liqueur= 1 drink
I don't have a source, but if there is a serve safe website or a TIPS website, you will find the facts there, I waitress and we have to take tests on this stuff upon hiring.
