Answer:
Push the cork into the bottle. Take a metal hanger and bend the tip into a small hook. Slip the hanger with the small hook into the bottle catching the cork and you should be able to pull it right out. Good luck. And enjoy your wine.
Poke the cork down into the wine, or smash off the top of the bottle.
use a regular screw and wind it into the cork.....then pull
Your teeth.
pliers
Take a knife, ice pick or screw driver and push the cork into the bottle.
A paring knife could work. You just gotta be careful.
plyers
You can push the cork in, if you have no other choice.
The cork will make the wine tast wierd though, you you have to pour the wine into another container.
Try a screwdriver...
Ha! I have been there!
If you're very careful you can use a small paring knife or something like a swiss army knife or a screwdriver. You have to be super careful though. And it takes a little time, but it works. Just be careful and patient. And go buy a corkscew tommorrow, you can just buy a super cheap one at the grocery store--you don't need a fancy one.
you could probably use a knife and stabb the cork
Either take a butter knife and pop the cork into the wine, or invite a friend to the "party" that has a corkscrew.
Ok once when I was in college we got snowed into this girls apartment with lots of wine, but no corkscrew. We took a pen and pushed the cork down into the bottle of wine. Not the classiest thing in the world but it worked!
It would be easier to think of how to push the cork into the bottle than how to extract it nicely...Hammer and screwdriver works but if you can find something with a flat edge smaller that the opening (think of a fat steel pencil), that would work better than the screwdriver...firmly tap but not too hard...break the bottle and wine is done (not worth the risk of swallowing small pieces of glass)
That happened to me once and I used a screw driver and tore that cork to shreds. I tried to pound it but it wouldn't budge. If this happens to you just remember to strain it when it nears the bottom. Oh, and by the way, you can buy a cork screw at the Dollar Store.
drill a screw into the cork and use pliers to pull it out, i know from experience.
try to insert air inside the bottle to pump the cork out! use a medical injection or something similar like people use to pump sport balls.
