Actually it's healthy because of the powers of tomato juice. Add a dash of Worcestershire, a drop or two of lemon, a stalk of celery.... and go for it. Heck no .... it's not a gay drink. I'ver seen lots of guys on Bourbon St. throw those back.
Sometimes high in sodium but not fattening. I like to use v-8 juice with a splash of worshesteshire sauce and a splash of tobasco. The spicier the drink,the less gay you will feel.Oh ,and no umbrellas

My Husband makes his with V8, Absolute Peppar, Worcestershire, celery salt, pepper, horseradish, Tabasco, sometimes he uses clamato instead of the V8 or even adds beef stock (but I think that's actually another drink) and his garnish of choice is kosher dill pickles (no woosey celery here)
When we go camping, boating or out at the cabin all the guys start a rough morning out with this - so not gay at all.
personally during that time of the month, i'll fight a bloody battle with mary. but i won't drink her tomatoe juices.....that's just sick !
