If it would be your first time drinking vodka, you probably won't like the flavor that much, and how quickly you get drunk all depends on your experience with alcohol. All too much vodka will do is knock you out and you'll be past out on the floor for a while and you'll wake up next to someone very ugly. Personally though, I like vodka. If this is your first time though, you'll probably hate it. You'll just have to get used to it. GOOD LUCK!! :)

it takes me about 3 or 4 shots. i weigh about 120 pounds or less. it is pretty bad by itself so make sure you have a chaser but i have become a big big fan of hennesy. just don't do anything stupid
One shot of 80 proof (40% alcohol) vodka is the same amount of alcohol as 1 12oz. beer. So how ever many beers it takes you to get drunk it is about the same number in shots. Of course the amount it takes to get drunk is different for every body.
I could drink a 1/5 of aristorcrat in a couple of hours and not be drunk "the reason I don't drink liquor". I drink on an average of 12 to 15 beers a night to keep my body in balence but if I drink more than 18 beers within 6 hours or so I would problay become a bit drunk.

weight
tolerance level
would be the two most significant
someone that drinks regularly is not as likely to be affected with a few shots as someone that drinks rarely
also someone that weighs 200lbs is going to be able to handle more than someone weighing 100lbs
