Kitty said: Yes.How would you describe your wine knowledge?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(How would you describe your wine knowledge?),it will help you,my kids.
Answer:
Well, considering I've had no formal instruction I think my wine knowledge is pretty good for a guy who didn't know a shiraz from a portabello just 5 years ago.
Every day I learn something new. A lot of that knowledge has come from hanging out with people in the trade.
I was at a dinner tonight where a friend challenged me to identify the wines blind. I normally am awful at blind tasting but was able to identify the white as a pinot grigio and the red one I was able to identify as a Bordeaux most likely from 2003 (it turned out to be the 2003 Haut Bages-Liberal from Pauillac).
Anyway, like most people I understand some areas better than others. I think I know and understand the Rhone, Bordeaux and Sauternes reasonably well, but I'm still working on Burgundy, Spain, Portugal, Chile and Argentina. There is so much to know and learn, but it's so much fun learning it.
Cheers!

I don't have much wine knowledge at all.
I don't like wine, just vodka and rum
A whole lot better than 10 years ago...and I ll just keep on learning - cheers!
I can tell my boudeux to charonnay. My semillion to shiraz.
fair, was given training through Marriott Hotels. why, do you have a question?
Excellent! I know that they come in two colours - red and white(with some various shades in between) and that if it tastes good to me, I will buy it.
Describe my wine knowledge? Well, I'd have to say it has a heady nose with a crisp, slightly fruity attack and a unexpectedly warm finish peppered with notes of vanilla.
That's why I prefer beer.
"Always learning"! lol
