Kitty said: Yes.I'll be turning 21 and I've never had an actual drink before. How will I-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(I'll be turning 21 and I've never had an actual drink before. How will I),it will help you,my kids.
I've tasted drinks before but I've never actually had a full drink. I'm looking forward to trying margaritas w/tequila and pina coladas w/rum. I don't want to get drunk because it doesn't sound appealing and like my idea of a good time, and I don't think I'd make a pleasant drunk anyway. So considering all of the above, and me being a 5'8'' woman, not overweight but big-boned, how will I respond to the alcohol after one or two drinks? And another question- how would I respond to one shot of straight tequila or rum?
Answers:
***EAT BEFORE YOU DRINK***
With that said, after the first 2-3 drinks, you will probably feel relaxed and thats where you might want to draw the line...
Try not to mix hard liquor with beer... makes a nasty hangover. It can sometimes be hard to keep track of what you drank if your cocktails taste so yummy & there's always someone looking to down a shooter or two, three, four.
Keep an eye on your drink - always! And if you plan to drink more than your usual...make sure it's with friends and that you have a sober driver or money for a cab!

No one can really say how you will react to drinking as everyone has their own tolerance level. I once knew a woman that was really skinny and she could drink anyone I knew under the table.
The advice I would give you is to eat something with a lot of bread before you go out and drink water between drinks. The reason for most hangovers is dehydration. Who knows what kind of drunk person you will be. I am not promoting that, however just in case you do end up drinking more than planned drink water before you sleep and take 2 pain meds like asprin.
It will F*** you up ... you will need time to figure out how your body reacts to alchohol, and which are your favorite drinks. Your palette will change over time. If you learn to enjoy the better drinks, and not just drink to get drunk, you'll discover that adulthood is truly worth the wait. Water, when you have drank a lot and you wake up with a crude is because you are dehydrate

Well isn't that nice, just 21. I immediately knew what to say when I saw your question. Having drunk many different drinks several times thruout my life (never a drunk) I can say that;
If you are "big-boned" as you say, 1-2 drinks won't faze you, except maybe the first time. Your best bet is mixed drinks, not beer or wine (There are so many different types of beer or wine that you'll need to find out what is best for your taste). Ask your friendly neighborhood bartender based on your taste ( sweet, bitter, etc.) You might like a flavored martini; light, tasty, not strong, margaritas could give you brain freeze if you drink it too fast, pina coladas are fine too. These are all sweet drinks. For not too sweet but potent try a Long Island iced-tea. Tastes just like ice tea but it sure ain't, just do one of those, trust me. Then there are lots of cranberry and orange juice drinks; seabreeze, screwdriver, among others.
Now, tequila. Where do I start... Also known as to-kill-ya among fans. One shot will leave you fuzzy in the brain, 2 -3 and you better have given your keys to the dd (designated). Now rum is another story - if you want a shot of rum go for the gold reserves, or even a nice Bermuda dark rum- very tasty!
Just remember - drink in moderation. Then you'll never go wrong. Enjoy.
Just don't drink too much you will have more than 1or 2 drinks then you will throw up
Everybody responds differently. Some people are quick drunks, some are not. Some are happy, some are not. Go slow, learn what your boundaries are. Good luck with "to-kill-ya"...ugg, I hate that stuff. Never had a good experience with it.
Everyone reacts differently to alcohol. It may take a while to work on you because you are big boned. I got drunk three weeks ago and I'm about your size and it took me a while to become drunk. Eat before you start drinking because it will slow down the alcohol from going through your system so fast.pesonally i do not like either of those (but i do like a whiskey sour)but 1 drink u should b fine just dont start mixing stuff up some vodka then rum ect that usually makes me feel bad and shots r the hardest on me oh and p.s. tequila makes ur clothes fall off have fun and happy birtday "Big boned"? Your bones are are big as anyone else's. The skin around them is a different size. Anywho consider your real weight , drink a lot of water, have a decent meal 3-4 hours before you go out with a sizable portion of carbs.
How could you be 21 and bot have had a drink or as you say a full drink. I wonder what southern state she's from...
