During my University years, The Golden Triangle Tavern in Nova Scotia had 25 cent draft night every Thursday.
That didnt exactly break the Piggy Bank.
In my college days a bar I used to frequent had a special called "beat the clock" night. Drafts would start out at 5 cents at 7:00 PM and double in price every hour until they topped out at a $1.00. What deal!
I used to go to a fairly good bar/restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama. On Thursday nights the beer and snacks were free!
Can't beat that.
