Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Is the peppermint schnapp AVALANCHE still available?),it will help you,my kids.

This is the blue companion to Aftershock which is cinnamony and red. The Avalanche looked like windshield washer fluid and had sugar crystals that formed on the bottom of the bottle?

7-8 years ago we used it as a refresher for putting down beers. It was like an instant wake me up. I remember going to buy it one night in Boston and the guy at the packy just said "They don't make it anymore.". When pressed for details he said "You don't wanna know." We left it at that.

Just trying to figure out if its still available or what happened to it.

Answer:
Jim Beam Brands (who manufactured it) discontinued the brand.
You'll have to search the old stock of liquor stores to find any old bottles.
Aftershock is still alive and well, however.
Not in Arizona. They stop distributing it here a few years ago.
You can still find it here and there but not so much. It went out of fashion because it wasn't selling well. It was percieved to be a kiddy drink as the high sugar liquors(Goldschlager and such) were being consumed by younger people. Plus avalanche had a pitiful alchohol content.

Now if you look at sales its more things like Jager Bombs (Jager and Red Bull) that are selling. Less sugar, less hangover.

But if you want that refreshing peppermint taste that does help when drinking beer ask for RUMPLEMINZ. Its German peppermint schapps and is available everywhere and kept in the freezer like avalanche. It's not blue but is just as tasty. And it actually has a higher alchohol content that almost anything else behind the bar.
DeKuyper, the producer of this schnapps no longer has it on their list of schnapps.

However, if you like Peppermint Schnapps, you can always go to Rumplemintz, which is a German Schnapps that is 100 proof. It packs a whollup so drink sparingly, but tastes pretty good (not as sweet as DeKuyper peppermint), especially in girl scout cookies.
