how do i build a kegerator from a dorm room fridge ( the mini ones that hold about two cases of beer cans)

Answer:
First you'll have to measure the inside of the fridge to make sure you can fit at least a 1/4 keg. Keep in mind that 1/4 kegs come in the long thin canisters and the traditional short barrel shape. If one will fit, you can buy a conversion kit that should include a carbon dioxide tank (co2), a regulator, a tower, and a spout and handle. You will then need the appropriate hoses, and of course, the actual tap for the keg. (The tap is also known as the coupler. You need CO2 if you plan to keep the beer longer than about 24 hours. You may want to look for a small cylinder (2 lbs) to keep thing smaller, 2 lb should last for 6-8 kegs. Anyway, you can look for kits on ebay, or checkout www.micromatic.com for parts, kits, and information.
