to be distinctive i guess,would still be outstanding in any other shape.
its a swiss product and it represent the mountains of toblerone in switzerland, hence the shape plus i guess its good packaging style and efficient too.
so they don't roll of the table.
It's a marketing ploy to grab your attention.
Triangular moulds are cheaper than square or round ones and the Swiss are a frugal nation................
So that they fit in the box.
To mimic the Swiss Alps.
so its painful 2 eat something so nice and full of sugar
To look like the Swiss Alps (mountains).
Because they wouldn't fit in the box if they were square.
To represent the Matterhorn; the creators of Toblerone were Swiss, so they were being ultra-patriotic!

because they tried to make it as a rectangle shape before but another company already had that idea so they had to make it in a triangular shape.i hope that story sounded convincing cuz i just made it up as i went along
