Because it changes our perception of the world. I don't think its addictive, but its the cheapest and most easily available anastesa I know. And when I say easily available, I dont mean because it's sold in every grocery in America. I mean anybody could turn their bathtub (or a pitcher in their refrigerator) into a distillery very easily.

becauses it takes the the self controlling and monitoring part of your brain and gives it a break
i like the taste, but if i have a drink, it's MAYBE once every 2 weeks or so. and only 1-2 drinks, mostly 1.
i used to go out and have a drink a few times a week, but that got expensive, and i was in a serious relationship.
my tolerance has since died. 1 drink does me in, now.
im not a big drinker but when i do drink it i find it helps me relax and unwind altho for sum people they use it to drown sorrows and then it just becomes a way of life and yeh ur right its not a good way of life but to some people its all they know
BAD HABITS. THAT'S WHY PARENTAL GUIDANCE IS SO IMPORTANT. TEACHERS CAN'T DO EVERY THING . PARENTS ALSO HAVE TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
who says alcohol is bad? i read it somewhere that alcohol has its benefits, lots of them actually. it only becomes bad when you abuse it. same with chocolate, coffee, and other "good stuffs"!!

Why do people drive cars when you can get into an accident and maybe die? Why do people cross the street when cars hit them sometimes? Why do we fly in airplanes when they can crash? Why do we even get out of bed when we can die from any of the above? ITS CALLED LIFE!
Drinking can be fun, relaxing and social. Some people aren't responsible with alcohol like many things (i.e. text messages while driving). Alcohol is actually bad for the liver and brain the most by the way.
