Lol, some people have different tastes. Some people find the taste of beer repulsive, as well as liquor. I find wine to taste sweet (the good stuff) and enjoy it.

alcolhol choice is a personal preference. What makes you think that people "pretend" to like wine? What would be the point? Do you really believe that someone would have to pretend to like wine so that they won't be rejected? You obviously don't care for wine, and apparently have developed a notion that no one does - and if they do, they must be pretending.......

But wine is fruity and full bodied or lighter and DELICIOUS! Sparkling wine is even better! Besides, is there anything better than wine and chocolate?!!? No! A nice Merlot, maybe a Cabernet with a piece of dark chocolate is like HEAVEN...
I love wine. Italian family, we love our wine, Red or White it don't matter. I don't drink it all the damn time ofcourse, dinner mostly or occasions with friends and family.
Wine goes great with real cuisines.

To me, in direct opposition from your faux facts, a good wine is refreshing, feels great, and tastes great. I don't "pretend" to like it at all. I actually do.
Wine is excellent for the heart and many wines are delicious.
