They need *someone* to preach to. And a captive audience is best. If it bugs you and they don't answer the question, report them.
I think it's one of the "steps" in the AA programs... "step 7, "you must publicly annoy/humiliate/preach to, at least 3 strange people, weekly; who may be attempting to purchase or consume any alcoholic beverage of which you may have been addicted to at some point"
Cause their stupid idiots who can't have any fun anymore because they stopped drinking, Probably because they did something stupid while they were drunk and now they don't want anyone else to have fun drinking cause they are jealous.
I have been a recovering alcoholic for 18 years, in the first 5 years you should stay away from beer wine bars unless you are with someone who has been sober for long time. getting sober it does not mean i have to hide from alcohol, i have here at home cuz my husband likes to a beer ar two once in a while, also there is ocagens like wedding ,party..we have a text book in AA it said I have to be on spirtual solid ground and check my motive before i go any were near alcohol.also when i was 7 years sober i bartended for 3 years it was so much fun in a sports bar to see people change personltiy.but tose are my belives and i get from our text book.please if you do not know what step 7 is do not say anything...its about charether defactes my own there are no preaching
Good question!!! Seriously, please leave me alone and let me enjoy my wine/beer/whatever. If I was an alcoholic, I would be seeking help, but I'm not. If you cannot answer my question about alcohol, then please go away! Whew, I feel better!
because these *ssholes just gotta preach at other people to make themselves feel better. Just because they were weak and became alcoholics at a young age they feel that they need to ruin other peoples good times and preach their AA bs to everybody, thats why.
The Born Againers get so much flack in spiritual/religion area this gives them a break. They need to abuse some poor sinners in other areas.
