Oh, man, I know what you mean. My best friend and I crave eggs so bad when we're hungover. (But I eat a ton of eggs even when not hungover. They're one of my favorite foods.) I would always cook us scrambled eggs and cheese when we'd get home from the bar before we'd crash out, or the sober one of our group would drive us to Perkins, the ultimate early-morning hangout for drunks.
I've thought about the getting-sick part, too, and I bet it's not the eggs themselves that make you sick. I tend to get sick while hungover from eating any food that's too heavy or too greasy, and especially from eating _too much_ because I end up having all this nasty crap swimming around in my stomach. I'm sure it's more difficult for the body to process excess alcohol when it's also trying to digest five other completely different things. So keeping the eating kind of light when hungover - and drinking more water instead - will probably help. Then, when you feel slightly better, eat the eggs.
I'm pretty sure you're the only one gets that craving...

Hangovers and cravings are subjective. Meaning what you crave is not necessarily what someone else will crave.
That would be a question you have to ask yourself. I don't think most get a craving for eggs when hungover.
eggs are the last thing on my mind when i have a hangover...chicken fetuses, no thank you.
i tend to go for the greasy food myself.
I never have craved eggs with a hangover... as a matter of fact, I dont even feel like eating. But I make myself eat something greasy to settle my stomach! It works! Im not kidding! Also, the chaser pill works as well! I felt soooo much better the next morning than I would have without it!
i crave eggs too. actually when me, my brother, and my husband (he was my boyfriend at the time) used to have a night of drinking, we'd always go to denny's in the morning. but it never made me sick. I thought it was going to (actually the smell of any food made me queasy but i still craved the eggs) but i actually felt better after i ate them
well i think its like "to each his own"...coz i crave for eating chicken wn i hav a hangover...in urs case its eggs...theres no specific answer to it...

go directly to the pot and barf before you sleep
you passed your limit and face alcohol poisoning the next morrning
I like eggs the morning after mixed with bacon and a bloody mary, but It don't make me crook, it fixes me right up.
