We used to drink bourbon with a beer chaser, main drawback was getting completely wasted. Only ever had a hangover once, but that was from mixing two types of bourbon (cheap and not cheap). Obviously from the fifth of cheap, not the quart of not cheap (it was the end of finals my senior year).

Three-quarter fill a pint glass with Guinness Stout. In a shot glass pour in Jameson's Irish Whiskey and top off with Bailey's Irish Creme. Gently drop the filled shot glass inside the glass of stout and down in one huge gulp. It goes down nice and smooth, tastes great and will phuck you up if you have more than three. Any bartender worth his salt will know how to make one.
