A berkshire pig is a med sized breed of hog that is black with white spots. Also know as Japanese Black hog, the breed thrived in Japan as Kurobat pork, the name synonomous for a unique dining experience.
Kurobata pork is visuablly different, the color is darker and richer, and well marbled.
