Answers:
A bottle of sweet wine from Sauterne, Bordeaux, Chateau d'Yquem from the 1787 vintage sold for US $90,000 this week. That works out at about $15,000 a glass,

But in 1985 a bottle of red Bordeaux, Chateau Lafite, also from the 1787 vintage was sold by Christies for $160,000. The wine had been owned by US president Thomas Jefferson and has his initials etched on the bottle.

And $225,000 was paid for one wine that wasn't sold. A bottle of Chateau Margaux 1787 (same vintage) which had been offered for sale at $500,000 but not yet sold was accidentally broken. The bottle had been insured and th einsurers paid out $225,000

Other Answers:
coould you narrow it down between wine beer champagne, hard alcohol, and size of bottle
hard to say, some wines have been auctioned for hundreds of thousands of dollars. doubt that anyone would drink them however.
