I was told it is used for a filler or freshness

Answers:
I would never eat a hot dog cause if you watched how they are made you would puke! They have so many bad chemicals and guts and etc. They are not not fit for a dog. Even the dog food is made with better ing. People care more for their pets food than what they eat and I was told that it is not worms but a friend of mine said it is.

Other Answers:
Sodium Erythobate is a kind term for genetically grown earthworms. Yes they are a filler and a high source of protein.

I'd suggest reading carefully before I purchase any more hot dogs if I were you...I never buy any with that ingredient anymore.

I don't know but here is what I do know. I try really hard to buy only foods with ingredients that sound like they actually are O.K. to eat....more like a grocery list and less like the chemical make-up of gasoline. It it difficult because of mass production there tend to be a lot of additives, but if you keep looking, you will find what you want.
