Answers:
rinse the shrimp in cold water first.

If you boil only boil for 3 minutes.

Use only raw shrimp

Other Answers:
It IS a fish. That is like saying how can I make my chicken not taste like poultry.

If you do not like the taste of shrimp, don't cook or eat it.
buy fresh shrimp or soak it in milk and garlic for a while and rinse

You need to devein the shrimp. There's a mudvein that you can see inside the shrimp before it's cooked. Use a butterfly knife, or they sell a tool specifically for this.
rinse well in cold water. use fresh lemon juice when cooking.
first check if you mixed it with some fish when you cook it... shrimp should not have the fishy taste most specially when its fresh... haha. but kidding aside, you could try squezzing some lemon juice or putting some ginger juice or garlic in it. i love shrimp.
use vinager
make sure not to use key west shrimp that stuff is just nasty! Fresh is Best!
Don't eat it for a while and the taste will be gone in few days!
Good advice above - devein and rinse. But the most important rule is only use shrimp that is Fresh. Freshness is the most important aspect. Frozen or even day old shrimp might smell. Only buy shrimp that were swimming around that morning.
Gee.. shrimp are seafood, you know.

You could use mustard powder, or even some powdered cayanne pepper in the boil to alter the flavor.
use fresh shrimp, clean and devein well. Soak in buttermilk for at least a 1\2 hour. Use medium to small shrimp. cook for no more than 2 to 3 mins.
cook it with 1/2 can of beer and 1 whole lemon (cut it in half and microwave it for 1 min ) -juice and rind.

Also BUY FRESH SHRIMP. if its old its going to taste fishy no matter what you do!!
cook it with galic and butter but rinse it first then cook it with those flavers
