is there any meal or food that I can eat before going to sleep that helps me sleep quicker and better?

Answers:
Anything from milk products such as: milk with a spoon of honey, cheese, yoghurt, etc.

Other Answers:
I always heard milk does it. Also turkey, and anything with lots of carbs like potatos.

Celery has a mild natural sedative. Or you can try warm milk. The warming helps break down the proteins and provides that "warm and cozy" feeling. Turkey has triptophin, another natural sedative, but seems a bit heavy to eat before going to bed. dry fruits, especially figs.
Because the minerals.
Herbal infusions.

Milk has always done it for me. I can't stand warm milk, but cold works fine. You can try chamomile tea - it's very relaxing. Tryptophans help the brain produce seratonin, which relaxes you and helps you sleep. High protein foods contain another amino acid that helps the brain produce a chemical that wakes you up. So stay away from high protein foods late in the day.

Good bedtime snacks include carbs and some calcium. Low sugar cereal is a good snack. The website listed below also recommend oatmeal cookies and milk or warm apple pie and ice cream.

It takes a while forthe food to kick in, so have your snack an hour or so before bedtime.

The link has a lot of great information specifically about this subject.
