Sure! If I run into a sale or have some I can't use in time I just put it in a zip lock and steam it later. It is not as good as fresh but it works in a lot of recipes. I do it with bananas, too. They are great for smoothies.

blanch them for few seconds and put them in ice bath right away. Then you can store them in freezer bags.
