yummy!!!
Get some thin slices of ham and some cream cheese. Spread each slice of the ham with the cream cheese. Then put one or two of the green tops and one end and roll them up like a jelly roll. Put them in the refrig for a few hours and then slice them crossways. Absolutely delicious.
The white part of the onions can be chopped up and put in any type of salad - lettuce, potato, pasta.
I'm sure you will get lots of good ideas here.
You can eat them raw if they aren't to "hot". If they are, you can cut down the heat by socking them in ice water for a few minutes.
I like to cut them up into a salad or to "doctor up" my sandwich I mix them with a little mayo.
You can pretty much use them as a sub for regular onions.
Instead of onion in dips, soup (at the end), omelets, salads, and as crudite. Chop up a bunch and keep in the fridge and throw a tablespoon into everything you cook or to top off instead of parsley.
Enchilladas, eggs, burgers, and chicken salad!
u can use them in salas or i cut them up slice potatoes (about 11/2 inches thick put oil in a baking pan to coat it mix the potatoes in it and then i coat them with onion soup mix and bake them at 350 turning them once in a while until they are done.serve them with ketchup or sour cream
