I was just wondering if there's a recipe to make that pink solid stuff in jello.. like u see in some stores. It's like pink and has the same texture as jello.. and also has chunks of jello in it.

I know one recipe I use a lot can create this weird combination of Jello layers. Mix your Jello as normal with the hot water, but do it in a blender. Add a mix of 1/2 ice and 1/2 cold water and then mix for 1 minute. Pour into wine glasses. As it sets, it forms three layers, one is normal clearish Jello, one is slightly frothy, and the final is very frothy.
There is also a dish where you make Jello as normal cutting the water down a little. When that is set, cut it into cubes. Then make a second batch of Jello but replace half of the cold water with Cool Whip. When it has started to thicken, stir in the Jello cubes, and then let it set completely.

1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Strawberry Whipped Topping, unthawed, divided
1 cup sliced strawberries
STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add two thirds of the frozen whipped topping (about 2 cups); stir with wire whisk until whipped topping is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Refrigerate remaining whipped topping for later use.
SPOON strawberries evenly into five dessert cups; cover evenly with the gelatin mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or until set.
TOP evenly with the remaining whipped topping just before serving. Store leftover desserts in refrigerator.
You don't need to use fruit. You can also just use the rest of the recipe, any flavor, and do it like that. It's delicious for kids AND for adults.
