Very easy, but requires a gentle touch. Bring ample water to a boil. If you don't know how much, just get your biggest pot and fill it 3/4 of teh way up. (You can't use too much water, but you can use to little.) Put in a generous pinch of salt into the water, I like Kosher salt to season the pasta and help raise the temperature of the water. Cook it for the time directed on the package for the size spaghetti you're using. IMPORTANT! check the pasta 2 minutes before the box says it will be done. It should be al dente (to the tooth - in italian) meaning firm, but not crunchy. Drain it, but don't rinse it. You can put it in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil to keep it from sticking, or you can swirl it right into the sauce. If you like, you can retain some of the starchy cooking liquid to thicken your sauce, if you think it will be too thin.
For a good sauce recipe, try something simple like a homemade marinara. All you really need are some fresh basil leaves, plum tomatoes, and garlic and onions. de-seed and chop up the plum tomatoes. saute the onions and garlic in olive oil over medium-low heat (don't brown them) and add in the plum tomatoes. Cook umtil the plum tomatoes are soft. At this point, some people like to run the sauce through a food mill to get rid of skins and grind up the tomatoes into a sauce, but if you like it chunky like me, just chop up the basil add it in and serve! Don't forget the fresh parmesan!

bring the pan of water to the boil, add a splash of olive oil to stop the spaghetti from sticking together. then add the required amount needed for the recipe put the lid on the pan and leave it to come tothe boil. don't stir or disterb until draining, this means that most of the starch will disspurse with the water.... happy cooking hun.
a very simple way that me and my mom makes use of...
u need the pasta, spagetti sauce, preferably Italian Style (u could buy them in groceries), ground beef or pork, mushrooms, and cream.
and garlic, onions, salt, pepper, sugar
boil the pasta. u put some vegetable oil (ver little just to keep the pasta from sticking together). when it is of the right consistency, wash it in running water inside a strainer.
then make the sauce.
sautee garlic, then onions (minced, ok?)
then add the meat, the salt, pepper, sugar.
when its a bit cooked, add the mushrooms (though mushrooms are optional)
then add the spagetti sauce. bring to a boil.
add in the pasta, then the cream.
serve with lots of cheese on top.

For 500 gr spaghetti: Cut little spark, 150 gr cheese, 200 gr Tuna, 100 ml Tomato, little olive oil, mix that and add to boil with salt and after that washing with cold water and thin spaghetti.
Boil it in a saucepan of water. You can test if is cooked by throwing a small piece at a wall cupboard and if it sticks to it, it is cooked.
try bbc.co.uk/food
excellent site full of different ideas
for the spaghetti drop into pan of boiling water with a drop of olive oil so the pieces won't stick and add pinch of salt. cook till you can throw a piece against a wall and it sticks. also stir the sauce into pasta as it covers it and makes the experience better. also don't forget cheese. with a tomato sauce i prefer fresh parmesian
take about 400gms of spaghettti and boil it in about 1 litre of water and salt to taste and cook until aldente(i.e just right).in another pan heat some oil and saute chopped onions(2 nos)when pink add chopped garlic(1 pod)add some grated or finely chopped veggies like potato, carrot, french beans, capsicum all colors, green peas(whole)and some indian masala to give it an indian touch, like garam masala powder, redchilli powder&cumin powder.alternatively u can add any other spices u like. saute untill cooked.add the spaghetti and mix well.remove from fire.garnish with parsley or coriander leaves (finely chopped).
voila dinner is reday.
ok buy premade sauce in cans.. the most expensive ones are usually better. cook spagetti and pour the sauce on it. then put premade meat balls and cook, then add. or you could just do takeout. try googling it too.

I'm from Romania so I'm not familliar with the ingredients on the american market, but here's a simple spaghetti recipe (doesn't contain any meat) that doesn't require much:
400 gr spaghetti
oil
one medium size onion
garlic
salt and pepper
spaghetti condiment or basil
1 small jar/can of tomato paste
250 ml. thick tomato juice
2 cans of diced champignons
2-3 table spoons of diced olives
parmezan cheese
First, boiling the pasta - this method works like a charm. Fill a large pot with 3/4 water, add a teaspoon of salt and a little olive oil. When it's boiling, add the spaghettis and stir thoroughly so that they won't stick. Let them boil for 3-4 minutes, turn off the stove, cover the pot with a clean towel and put a lid. Leave it like this for 10-15 minutes and then pour them into a bolter under a bit of cold water.
For the sauce, saute a medium sized onion (chopped small) and a little garlic in olive oil (a table spoon). Add salt, pepper, 2 cans of chopped champignon mushrooms and 2-3 table spoons of diced olives and let them saute for about 3-5 minutes. Then add a small jar of tomato paste, stir and after about 2 minutes, add 250 ml. of thick tomato juice. If the sauce is too thick you may add water. Let it boil foor about 5 minutes, add some spaghetti condiment (or just basil) and let boil for another 5 minutes.
Serve with parmezan cheese on top.
Bon apetit!
