I make a mean thai curry, but when I use lemongrass, it leaves hard bits in the curry. Is it supposed to be like that or am I using the wrong part?? Which part of the lemongrass am I supposed to use? Cos all of it seems hard!!

Answers:
Cut the bulb away (at the bottom). Then chop it. Put it in when the curry's bubbling and fragrant. When you scoop it out to serve, try to not scoop the lemongrass bits. But eating it is okay.

Other Answers:
Just toss it into liquid and simmer it. It's usually not chopped up and addded, as it's too tough to ever get tender enough to eat.
