try a different meringue. I use Swiss for 99% of my meringue needs. Use your same recipe and combine the whites and sugar in a mixing bowl. whisk together and heat to 110 degrees over a water bath. Put on mixer and whip. It makes a great shinny meringue that holds up very well.

Meringues are meringues are meringues. In other words the basic formula for every meringue is sugar and egg whites. Humidity and under-baking are two main culprits that can cause meringues to weep. Try baking them a little longer and keeping them well wrapped prior to use. Good luck!
