Answers:
4-6 servings:
6 medium boiling potatoes (1 1/2) pounds
1/3 to 1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1) Peel and dice potatoes, and boil until tender. Drain water, and shake pan with potatoes over low heat to dry.
2) Mash potatoes in medium-sized bowl until no lumps remain (use forks/potato-masher, or electric mixer). Add milk in small amounts, beating after each addition (amounts of milk needed depends upon the kind of potatoes used)
3) Add margarige, salt and pepper. Beat vigorously until potatoes are light and fluffy. If desired, dot with margarine, or sprinkle with chopped paprika (red bell peppers), fresh parsley, watercress or chives.
Garlic mashed potatoes:
Cook 6 cloves of garlic, peeled, with the potatoes.
Personally, I like to replace the milk with half-and-half - alot more calories, but more tasty
Other Answers:
You're kidding, right?
wrap them in foil and back over them with the car what other kinds of potatoes are there besides real ones?
Peel and cut the potatoes into little chunks..boil the potatoes in water until they are soft.
add some milk ..maybe about a cup..mash them with a masher or a fork..drain some of the water off before you add milk...or they will be to muchy.
Add some butter.
add some salt..only a pinch..and there ya go.
potatos depends on how many you have takes about 20 min to 30 min to cook. just make sure they are really soft
Good luck.
peel baked potatoes and mash them up? peel, cut into chunks about the size of a golf ball.Put in boiling water to boil for about 20 mins....they are cooked when you stick a fork in one and it splits in two easily. Drain off the water, add seasoning, butter and milk to taste and then mash them with a masher until smooth.
oh dear
I think you mash them.thats a good question....j/p LOL WHAT A TOTTIE YOU ARE
DUH YES
Well you put the boiled potatoes in a bowl and you mash them with a potato masher. You put in some butter/margarine and a dash of milk and voila there you have mashed potato. You can get creative and add sour cream instead of milk or some parmesan. well, first you peel and cut the potatoes int thick wedges, then you boil them untill the are soft when poked through. after the are cooked soft, them mash them and add butter to taste. also add milk(amount depends on if you like runny potatoes or harder ones. the more milk, the runnier the potatoes) then they are ready to serve
I like to take the potatoes and peel them. Cut them in circles, put them in a pot with water and salt let them cook until they are tender. Drain well, add butter, and milk and mix with the mixer to the consistancy you like. Add pepper if you like.
first u peel your taters, then you boil them, for i dont know how long( till they're mashable), then u drain all the water, then u put them in a bowl, add a drop(literally) of milk, add some butter, salt and pepper, and if u like, add a little parsley, mmmmm..yummy :Pp.s. i seriously dont know how to cook :)

Source(s):
buy a potatoe masher
Peel and slice the potatoes, about 1 inch thick
Add them to a large pot of boiling water
Boil until soft ( you can use a fork to check)
Drain
This is where you have to taste-test
Add a couple tablespoons of butter
Mash everything up then start mixing with milk until desired consistency is reached. (you can use a manual mixer, fork, or a electric mixer-works best)
Just add a little milk at a time, they can get to mushy if you are not careful.
I would also suggest adding a little garlic and pepper.
1 wash potatoes
2 peel potatoes
3 bake or boil potatoes in a big pot
4 drain water off potatoes
5 take a potatoe masher and mash potatoes for 1hr and 30min
6 put salt and 1/2 stick of butter melted in the mashed potatoes mash again for another 1hr and 30 min
peel potatoes chop them up small cook for 20 min in a pot of boiling water drain water had some grated cheese mash to gether in the whith alittle milk and serve Peel them, boil them, drain them, add a stick of butter, a cup of milk, and mash them.
First peel your potatoes. Then cut them into quarter pieces. Get a nice size pot and fill with water. Add a little salt to the water. Put the potatoes into the pot and put on the stove and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes on medium or high heat until you can stick a fork in them and they are tender. Once done remove from stove and strain through a strainer. Put them back in the pot add some butter or margarine and milk. Use a mixer to mix to desired creamy consistency.
