    How do you make pasta with out it sticking to the pan?

Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

I can never make a good plate of pasta with out it sticking to the pan! please help all you good cooks!

Answers:
I always put oil in the water. Also make sure you stir it alot. I use a wooden spoon to stir it with because wooden spoons really unstick food.

Put salt in the water when you are boiling it.
Make sure you are using enough water. The only time pasta usually sticks to the pan itself is when it doesn't have enough water. If you mean that the pasta is sticking to itself, try stirring it for the first 30 sec. after you put it in the pan.

Add a drop or two of olive oil to the water and stir halfway through preparation. After cooking, instead of rinsing off the starch, add several tablespoons of sauce to the pasta (if using sauce!) and stir...it will keep the pasta from sticking together, and taste WA-A-A-AY better.

There are several ways to prep pasta so it won't stick:
1. Make sure you have filled your pot with water so it is just above the pasta.
2. Put a dash of salt in
3. Put a few drops of oil in
4. Use a nonstick pan, but still use precautions.
If you are frying:
1. Try using a nonstick
2. Put a liberal amount of oil in, so if you want a low fat recipe, try a different method.

You can use salt, or adding olive oil. Both work great. Only add a small amount of olive oil. About a table spoon
