PIE SHELL
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening
2-3 tablespoons ice water
Methods:
Combine flour and salt. Cut shortening into dry ingredients until mixture resembles corn meal. Add ice water one tablespoon at a time. Stir with fork. Form into a ball. Place on lightly floured surface and roll from center to edge until 1/8-inch thick. Makes one-9-inch pie shell.
PEACH PIE
Ingredients:
1 Baked Pie Shell
Main ingredients:
7 Peaches (peeled, sliced)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons margarine
Methods:
Place all main ingredients in pan and cook on stove top until thick and clear. Cool. Place in pie shell. Refrigerate.

It depends on the kind of pie you want to make. Most fruit pies need a bottom and top crust. Cream pies just need the bottom crust. For the crust you need flour, salt, shortening and a little water. You mix it then roll out and put it in a pie plate. Add your filling. If it is a fruit pie then roll out your crust then put it on top of the pie. Bake until done for fruit pie. For cream pie you bake crust first before adding the filling.
easy.. just get store-bought pie crust like pillsbury, love those flaky ones, they've 2 9 in. crust, just unroll, fill & bake. don't like the messy rolling pin thingy. one note they didn't include is u shd prebake ur bottom pie crust first half of the suggested time 20 min. for a flaky bottom ( u don't want it to b too soggy ), then fill w/whatever u like, i filled w/precooked cubes of potatoes, a can + 1/3 water of campbell's fat free cream of chk./ mushroom/ whatever u like - some kinda broth, ground turkey/other meats/optional, veges, unroll the top layer of crust over, & bake for another 40 min+/-. oh, on the side of the box, they've cool apple/cherry, pumpkin pie recipes too.
whatever u do, just fill it up w/ur fav. fillings just like how u order a pizza, enjoy ! :)
