I do have eggs, butter, and shortening though. I have everything except milk! And I'm HUNGRY!!! I need a pancake recipie that doesn't call for milk.

Answers:
Sorry, but that's an essential ingredient in making pancakes. Using water will not work at all - the flavor and consistency will come out all wrong! You'll just have to go to IHOP

use water
Distillate
you coudl try water, or come to my house il make u pancakes and bacon and whatever els eu want
use milk powder dissolved in h2o..or seems like u can bake a cake with the ingredients u have.
I never use milk. I use water in pancake mix.
I have some perfect solutions that may help you. Its called a store,or a cow<S>
You can't make pancakes right without milk.
You could use yogurt.....it will still give it the milky taste If it's to thick just use a lil water!
Use water BUT if you come over to MY place I have PLENTY of MILK...YOURS for the asking
Use water instead.
If you have some coffee creamer add a little water and substitute
I don't know how they would taste made with water, but probably wouldn't brown as well. Do you have any powdered milk, canned evaporated milk, yogurt, coffee creamer, or sour cream? I have used yogurt thinned with water or milk before and got good results. The coffee creamer may not be the most heathy substitute, but if you're hungry and that's all you have, it won't hurt once. If you try the sour cream, I would thin it too. Hope this helps.
If you have powdered coffee creamer, add some to your dry ingredients and you'll never know the difference. If not, you can make them with water.
Do you have canned milk? Try cutting that half and half with water.

This is why i keep powdered milk on the self
Use butter milk or make some with yougurt. Just add a glass of water to the yougurt and you have your buttermilk. You can mix it in the blender or with a whisk.
I had the same problem with French Toast once, I used melted ice cream instead.
