Feather Rolls - approx 36 rolls
1 C milk
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C butter or margarine
1 Tbs yeast
3 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
Approx 4-1/2 C flour
Dissolve sugar and melt butter in the milk. (I warm mine in a
microwave.) Let cool to about 110 degrees to 120 degrees. Add yeast
and let it work a bit. Add eggs which you have beaten with the salt.
Add flour and mix all. Let rise till about double. Turn out and
divide into three balls. Roll each ball into a circle and cut circles
into 12 triangles. Roll from the wide end of the triangle to the
narrow end. Arrange on cookie sheets. As you place they on cookie
sheet, bend them slightly to form crescents. Let rise until double or
puffy. Bake at 375 degrees until they are lightly browned.
The dough can also be made in a bread machine and formed after the
first rising. English Muffin Bread
