Answers:
It's not the end of the world. If your situation really does call for you to be able to cook, start simple. If you are single and OK with take out or sandwiches and salads who cares if you cook? If you get married look for a man who likes to cook-they ARE out there. Everyone has different talents and just because you're a young woman doesn't mean cooking has to be one of yours!

Well.. you got to feed your self or you will be going out to eat all of the time, spending precious money for no reason and you cannot control what you eat and get fat...

Oh yeah... what's going to happen when you get older and have kids.... you will know how to feed them and the husband as well...

I felt the same way when I was 23. I hated cooking, everything I made wasn't that great and it always ended up being a colossal waste of money and time.

I eventually found some books at the library that struck a chord with my "inner cook" and now I'm pretty good and make lots of different stuff. So I guess if it bothers you that you hate cooking, go to the library and find something that interests you. If it doesn't bother you, then who cares and spend your money as you please.

more than hate cooking, i read it as you hate doing stuff coz you got to put in energy and time into doing them. guess you are lazy like all of us.
anyway, its always good to know how to cook. you can learn up some easy recipes if you dont like to spend too much time. dont rely always on eating out, thats a dependency you are building. wasting a lot of money.

I didn't like to cook too much until I had kids. Seemed like a lot of time went into cooking for just me and my husband. My husband, who's cooking ROCKS, and I spend a lot of time in the kitchen together now. We have our kids help a lot and make it a family thing. Now I love recipe searching and finding new things to try. Ordering pizza or going to McDonald's was the majority of our week when we were 23ish.
