I usually cut the steak in medieum size pieces, fry on both sides really fast to lock in flavor. Then turn heat down & add water to cover meat. Add Onion Soup mix for flavor then let it simmer on med-low until its tender. Keep checking the water. You may have to add more during the simmering process. When meat is tender, remove it from pan & make gravy out of juice to use on mashed potatoes. I love it that way!

You should make beef jerky out of it. It lasts a long time but it is salty. If you do not have a dehydrator you can use an oven. You set the oven to 115 degrees F to 140 degrees F for 9 to 12 hours. Add your own marinade to it before you put it in the oven. Cut it into thin long strips. Enjoy.
