well, i cant say for sure, but go to a home brew supply store and pick up a glass carboy for cheap, (5 gallons, 15 bucks, etc.). Also, any apple cider glass jug or the like will work much better when dealing with microrganisms and such. Plastic will tend to capture bacteria and whatnot. glass is much, much better.
