I'm looking for a program similar to Word or Correl Draw or something that wil let me design multicolor backgrounds and add text and import images to them. It doesn't need to be anything fancy or cookbook-style related...just looking for a cheap program/software that is easy to use and I can get going with this. Thanks so much for any help!!!

I use Adope Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks for racing proposals...can use them for cookbooks too.

I have xp, an a program called microsoft works task launcher.
Their is a cookbook program on it for creating your own recipe cards etc
Microsoft Publisher has a cookbook template and it's very user-friendly. It's like a combination between Word and Pagemaker.
