Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(I want too start cooking, but 'm not sure what kind of projects too start wi),it will help you,my kids.
Can anyone recommend some websites with recipes, or maybe something you think I should expirence making?
Main courses or side dishes would be more helpful.
Answers:
Get some good "cooking for kids" books. They are very basic. One suggested list is at http://www.sallys-place.com/food/book_reviews/beginner_cooks.htm
A good way to find out if you really will use a particular book is to borrow it from the library. If they don't have it, you can get it thru' inter-library loan.
Get one or more of the great basic cookbooks - Betty Crocker, Better Homes & Gardens, and/or Joy of Cooking. I have all three and after 50 years still refer to them. They are available used in excellent condition on the internet.
I think one of the first things every new cook should learn to make are quick breads. Not only are they easy, they are very forgiving. Other than drastically over or under cooking, they are nearly impossible to screw up if you are paying reasonable attention.
Learn to make soups and stews, and casseroles. They techniques you learn with them can be applied to all food preparation.
Other Answers:
get a begininer cook book at Barnes And Noble. I suggest you start with simple cookie recipes. Main courses or side dishes- I suggest you start with a quiche. Email me for a great simple recipe. I'd like to share it but it's not handy, and my cat is waiting to be read to.

Baked beans on toast
When I started cooking my parents bought me the Betty Crocker cookbook.my first meal was spaghetti and meatballs.
My best advice is to start watching the Food Network on cable, especially the program "How to Boil Water." Their web site has program listings and recipes from each of the shows.
The other thing you can do is get some cooking videos or DVD's from your local library. If you find a series you really like, you could even look into buying it.
